[ february 2013 / a lorcha restaurant. macau ] it was my second time in a lorcha and this time i made sure we had a reservation. We came in an hour early but since most of the waiters are filipinos, they accommodated us well and made sure we were really taken cared of. it was in 2009 that i first tasted a lorcha’s portuguese dishes. like the first visit, we had clams ameijoas “bulhao pato” with garlic, coriander & olive oil ( M$98 ) - really delicious! make sure to dip the crusty roll from the bread basket to soak up the tasty broth. we also had arroz “chau chau” a portuguesea - portuguese fried rice ( M$98 ), vegetable salad (free), charcoal grilled “piri-piri” style chicken or african chicken ( M$128 ) - which is very flavorful - and spicy char-grilled prawns. for dessert we had mousse au chocolat. dinner at a lorcha was monette and aimee’s birthday treat for me! it was super satisfying and super yummy! :-)
